Tales of Arise is a thrilling JRPG to play. It takes a little time to warm up to Tales of Arises main characters ironic when two of them wield the powers of hell itself but once youre over that hump youre left with a charming JRPG powered by a battle system that never slows down.

Later areas are also plagued by being drawn out unnecessarily and filled with repetitive enemy encounters. It shows in the gorgeous new graphics engine and the games sheer amount of.

Tales of Arise is the newest entry in a decades-old JRPG franchise and as a longtime fan it sure feels like it in both positive and negative ways. The combat is fun and engaging all the way through yes but. Tales of Arise is the first entry in the series since 2016 and brings the franchise into a new technical realm with the leap. 1 day agoIn a lot of ways Tales of Arise is just what the franchise needed.
